Party Animals is similar to Gang Beasts, but with more cuddly fuzzy animals.

Party Animals, a cute and cuddly film, will be released sometime next year.

The wild physics-based party game got a free trial on Steam toward the end of last year, but we haven’t seen much of it since. The game has a strong Gang Beast flavor about it, with you dragging and yanking your opponents to their deaths or whacking them over the head with whatever tool you can get your hands on.

There seems to be a variety of minigames to compete in, such as wrestling each other off a moving train or headbutting other fuzzy buddies down a cliff. You could also battle over a giant gummy bear delicious, or throw another animal into an incinerator if that’s your thing.

There are tigers, dinosaurs, cats, cows, and a pretty cool-looking punk pig to select from among these quite nasty beasts. It’s a little disconcerting to see a swarm of cute creatures tears each other to bits, but it looks like a lot of fun nevertheless.

Party Animals will be released in 2022, and you can already wishlist it on Steam.
