Boomerang X, a bloody frisbee-tossing game, will be released on Steam next month.

Frisbee is no longer exclusively for college students. Boomerang X, a hyper-violent, super-stylish disc-tosser, is due to Steam next month, and there’s a demo if you want to test your aim before diving in headfirst.

Boomerang X has been on my radar for a while, and it’s simple to understand why. Dangfirst !’s foray into blade-tossing is bloody stunning, with an incredibly bright graphic design and quick, furious first-person arena action. It’s stunning in motion—an acrylic blur of blades, blood, and huge bugs.

Mind you, that boomerang is more than simply a murder-disc toss. Once tossed, you may slingshot towards it and dart across arenas at speeds that would make a Titanfall veteran blush. As you go through the game, you’ll not only unlock new frisbee techniques, but you’ll also learn more about this fascinating planet and perhaps make friends with a few millipedes along the way.

Boomerang X will be available on Steam on July 8th. If you don’t want to wait that long, you can play the game’s free demo right now as part of the Steam Next Fest—assuming you haven’t drowned in a sea of absolutely killer demos.
