Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba debuted as a manga in February 2016, however it has since been adapted into an anime and a film. It chronicles the exploits of brother and sister combo Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado, who is pulled into a secret club called the Demon Slayer Corps, which, as you can probably imagine, is no friend of demons.

According to the PlayStation site, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles will be released on October 15 via Steam, and in solo mode, the game will closely follow the events of at least two episodes, notably ‘Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc’ and ‘Mugen Train Arc.’
CyberConnect2 of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Azura’s Wrath renown produced the game; they’ve also worked on a number of Naruto titles. The Dragon Slayer game clip above shows Tanjiro destroying a slew of demons, but you’ll also be able to play as other characters from the series. “While Tanjiro has a fundamental skillset with great controllability, Zenitsu and Inosuke’s combat styles are distinct,” Aniplex’s Toshiyuki Kanazawa writes. “Zenitsu takes use of his speed by utilizing his single skill in a way that allows for continuous strikes. Inosuke possesses strong attacking powers as well as a strong charging ability.”
Fighting appears to be the name of the game here, so don’t anticipate an RPG experience like Kakarot. Fans of the anime, on the other hand, should be happy when it is released in October.
