The new Apex Legends character is a cursed moth-man with an army of drones.

Season 10 of Apex Legends is coming to a conclusion, which means it’s time to meet the new Legend for the next season. Seer, a cursed gunslinger with deadly looks and an army of tiny drones, was featured in a new “Stories from the Outlands” clip.

Apex has been gradually teasing Seer’s arrival over the previous several days, adorning Olympus with tiny moth stickers and dropping strange drones around the floating city—drones that, when engaged with, show holographic moths before releasing unique gun charms.

Today’s narrative teaser didn’t tell us much more, but it did it with sleek animation flair. A moon erupts as a child is born, a youngster with cursed eyes who allegedly reduces whatever comes into contact with his sight to rubble. The official website gives us a little bit more, characterizing Seer as having microdrones and an artist’s eye, with short pictures indicating that we’re looking at a true fashion icon—all sleeveless jackets and wide-brimmed hats.

Respawn also revealed the name of Apex Legends’ upcoming season, Emergence, which will include a new weapon (the Rampage LMG), ranked arenas, and some much-needed reworks to World’s Edge—with minor earthquakes and voice lines in the current version of the map hinting that the massive Harvester is about to go boom.

More of Seer and the new season will be available via EA Play on Thursday, July 22.
