The first crossover event for Genshin Impact will feature Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.
MiHoYo revealed the partnership on Twitter, saying that she will be a cryo, bow-wielding heroine who is also entirely free. That makes her the first five-star character to be given away in Genshin Impact without requiring a banner roll, which is pretty cool. As long as you have at least adventure rank 20, she will appear in your email as soon as the event begins. There’s also a complimentary four-star bow up for grabs, although it appears to be limited to PlayStation users only.
When the Genshin Impact 2.1 update hits on October 13, our PlayStation pals will have her a month early. PC gamers will be able to obtain her on November 24, or when Version 2.2 is released. She’ll be accessible on PlayStation until the start of 2.2, while PC gamers will be able to get her until the start of maintenance for the 2.3 release, which is expected to be somewhere in December or January. She won’t be accessible after that, so be sure you go in and get her while she’s still free. According to GamesRadar, if you have access to the platform, you may sneakily exploit the new PlayStation cross-save to play her on PC early.
