Eivor and his friends are going to have a great time in Paris throughout the summer: Ubisoft announced today that The Siege of Paris, the second Assassin’s Creed Valhalla addition, will be available on August 12.
The Siege of Paris will send Eivor on a new series of adventures in Francia, the biggest of Western Europe’s post-Roman barbarian kingdoms. New weapons, abilities, gear, and talents will be available, and Infiltration Missions will return, allowing players to choose how they will murder their assigned targets.
The Siege of Paris soundtrack will also be released on August 12, beginning with “Hásti”—Seat of Honor—which you can listen to below.
But you can’t go to war (or Paris) without appropriate preparation, thus the Sigrblot Season will begin on July 29 ahead of the release of The Siege of Paris expansion. The traditional summer celebration and the start of the raiding season will run until August 19 and will include new activities such as flyting, fighting tournaments, and dice games, three new quests, and new settlement decorations, customization items, and weapons, most notably the one-handed sword Skrognung, which can be purchased with Sigrblot tokens until the end of the festival. A new River Raid map pack is also in the works, although it will appear later in the season.
To enter the Sigrblot Festival, you must have arrived in England and finished either the Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire story arcs, as well as have your settlement leveled up to at least level two. To participate in The Siege of Paris, you’ll need to pay $25 or get a season pass, which is now on sale for $30 and appears to be the best option. Ubisoft.com has further information.
