ARMY OF THE DEAD is a film directed by Zack Snyder about a zombie-heist committed by a group of people. The storyline is okay and has the potential to be really good but unfortunately it does not deliver a satisfying ending. The theme of the film also seems to lost its own style as the film progresses. As someone who watched its prequel “Army of Thieves” first, this film did not give the characters from the prequel a good story. However. There are a few parts in this film that are done really well such as the action sequences. The action sequences are great and enjoyable. There are a few gore scenes that are really well done in this film. Next, the casts. Every cast delivered a very convincing performance although the script could be written better. The CGI in this film is also decent although sometimes the color choice seems to be misleading about what we are about to see in this film. Overall, it is okay to watch. Zack Snyder did try to give a different ending but it doesn’t end well. 6.5/10.
