The next Fallout 76 update is called Locked & Loaded, and it brings some much-requested changes to a game that has a user rating of Mostly Positive on Steam. The first is SPECIAL loadouts, which enable players level 25 and up to choose between two sets of stats and perk cards. You’ll need to visit one of the latest punch card machines arriving at train stations, or make one at your camp, to get access to that.
On the topic of camps, you’ll be able to choose from two of them. Just one will be involved at a time, but you’ll be able to toggle between them with a menu. For optimum convenience, the inventory of your vending machines would be shared by both.
Adjustments to target detection for melee attacks, optional goal assist for players, the ability to craft multiples of the same object at once, extra prizes for treasure hunter activities in which you track down mole miners, and an extended world activity menu on the map that will show active games, nuke areas, nearby player vendors, and so on are among the minor changes.
“Team up with Armor Ace and the Power Patrol as they face off against Commissioner Chaos and the Yukon Five during Season 4, which features a new Scoreboard, 100 ranks to reach, and plenty of prizes to assert along the way,” says the game’s description. Mannequins for displaying outfits at your camp, weapon skins, power armour colours, and a gold toilet are among the perks. No, seriously.
The Locked & Loaded Update is set to be released on April 27.
