Tales of Arise is the next in the long-running and well-loved Tales series of JRPGs, and we got another glimpse at the realm of Dahna during the Summer Game Fest livestream.
And, to be honest, I’m not sure what’s going on. JRPG tales are notoriously intricate, so I doubt it’ll be simple to condense them into a two-minute teaser. However, it appears to be a JRPG. Cheesy speech, seductive bad guy antagonists, and dramatic orchestral swells perfectly timed to enormous explosions. But it does seem very nice, and the Tales series has been dependably solid, so I’m looking forward to trying out Tales of Arise when it comes out on September 10.
