We now have our first look at Marvel’s Avengers Black Panther addition, War for Wakanda, which was unveiled earlier this year during Square Enix’s Summer Game Showcase.
War for Wakanda, like the previous two heroes added to the game (Kate Bishop and Clint Barton), will present an original Black Panther tale with characters familiar to both the movie and comic fans. “Black Panther must protect Wakanda from Klaw, who tries to steal Vibranium for his own goals,” the trailer’s brief description on YouTube says.
Klaw has long been a Black Panther villain, but if you’ve just watched the movies like me, you probably just know him as the guy with the beard who is fascinated with Vibranium (portrayed by Andy Serkis).
Despite speculations that Avengers will go free-to-play, it appears that Crystal Dynamics is sticking to its guns with an initial purchase and free additions like this one.
