In the new Martha Is Dead teaser, spooky puppets will teach you about even creepier ghosts.

There were already uncountable tragedies in World War II, but there’s always enough for one more. Psychological horror adventure in first person Martha Is Dead takes place in 1944 Tuscany, when the war is raging and a woman is discovered drowning in a lake. Her twin sister is forced to deal with the fallout and discover why her sister was murdered.

Some genuinely frightening puppets help to convey the distressing narrative in the new trailer above, which isn’t my first choice for the greatest method to learn about restless ghosts at the bottom of a lake. I wouldn’t want to hear that from a spooky children’s book, which appears in the video as well.

Following a year-long delay, Martha Is Dead will be released in 2021.
