Last Night in Soho is the latest work from the infamous director Edgar Wright. This film is about a girl, Louis from a smalltown who went to further his study in London in fashion design. As she gets there, she found herself in trouble to settle in with her roommate. She decided to rent a small room so she can have some space for herself. Unfortunately, the room is haunted with memories of a girl in the 60s. The storyline of this film is very good. We can feel the excitement of the main character as the story progresses. As someone who didn’t watch any trailers about this film, I am very surprised on what happened to the main character. The mystery that happened in this film keeps my eyes hooked to the screen. The visual or the cinematography in this film is also brilliant. It feels minimalistic and sophisticated. The editing also very precise and beautiful. The actors and actresses did so great in this film. Anya Taylor never failed to deliver a very convincing performance. Overall, I think it is one of the best films in 2021. 9/10 for this masterpiece. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys mystery and horror story.
