The rat gang has returned! A Plague Tale: Requiem, developed by Asobo Studio, was announced during the Xbox/Bethesda Showcase with a magnificent new in-engine teaser featuring murder, wonderful beaches, and, of course, rats.
A Plague Tale: Requiem sees Amicia and her brother Hugo return, this time a little older and wiser, as they stealth their way through an oppressively bleak environment, much as in the original game. There was very little gameplay displayed, but witnessing a sea of rats race through the city is the stuff of nightmares.
A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released on PC in 2022 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
