Overcooked 2, the great chef-em-up, is available for free on the Epic Games Store until June 24. At the time of its debut, PCG referred to this as “a cheery, non-violent co-op game easy enough for the whole family to enjoy It’s also one of the most incredibly stressful games you’ll ever experience.”
Essentially, this game’s attractive co-op wrapper conceals an often-brutal co-op romp: chef-on-chef action on the brink of what’s imaginable. While it is an iterative sequel, it also includes some significant new features, such as considerably more challenging stages that start exploding and moving about while you’re attempting to get a stew in the oven.
If you have someone to play with (and even if you don’t: Overcooked 2 features online multiplayer), this is a must-have. On June 24, at 11 a.m. ET / 4 p.m. BST, the deal will expire.
