Replaced, the cyberpunk platformer where you’ve been downloaded into a person

The 2.5D action platformer launched its teaser as part of the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, displaying a blazing red DOS-style interface before turning to several characters rushing through a forest under an unsettling siren. The main character is an AI that has been downloaded into a person, and they’re definitely not happy about it, judging by the way they knock out the first person they see once they arrive in the city.

The scenario, according to developer Sad Cat Studios, is an alternative 1980s, although the graphics in the teaser is heavily cyberpunk in style. That’s what retro-futurism will do for you—massive neon lights can only go in and out of style over time.
