Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl receives an excellent gameplay trailer and a release date of April 2022.

During today’s Xbox E3 webcast, a new Stalker 2 teaser debuted, displaying gameplay that will be recognizable to veterans of the iconic Exclusion Zone, all dressed up in drastically improved visuals.

At this moment, there isn’t much information. We see a bloodsucker and some fascinating new tech, but basically, we get a reminder of what life is like for a Stalker: “You never get acclimated to the Zone,” one of the campfire campers says. But the gameplay seems fantastic (I’ve been looking forward to a new Stalker experience for a long time). The release date will be the major news for fans: April 28, 2022.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl is “next-gen exclusive,” which means it will be accessible on PC and Xbox Series X/S at launch, as well as Xbox Game Pass. More information may be found at stalker2.com.
