Konami published the Castlevania Anniversary Collection in 2019, which collected eight classic Castlevania games and made them available again, including on PC. It does not, however, contain all of the popular favorites, such as Rondo of Blood and its sequel Symphony of the Night. The Australian Classification Board has leaked information about a new Konami collection that has yet to be revealed. In Australia, the Castlevania Advance Collection received an M rating for “fantasy violence” on June 18.
The name implies that this would be a collection of three Castlevania games released for GameBoy Advance: Circle of the Moon in 2001, Harmony of Dissonance in 2002, and Aria of Sorrow in 2003. So, no, Symphony of the Night appears to be on the way out once more. Sorry.
The Castlevania Advance Collection is rated “Multi-Platform,” meaning a PC release is not yet guaranteed, but given the Castlevania, Anniversary Collection did make it to Steam, it’s a safe bet that this will as well.
Meanwhile, now that the popular animated show’s fourth season has concluded, Netflix is hard at work creating a whole new Castlevania series.
