The majority of the clip is real-world footage, concentrating on what EA calls HyperMotion technology, which is a combination of machine learning and motion capture from high-intensity play. While the technical improvement shown in the teaser appears to be limited to consoles, I expect to learn more about the game at EA Play later this month.
Aside from significant advancements in motion capture, EA claims to have innovated in other areas of gameplay, such as Career Mode and the introduction of FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes, “totally new objects that symbolize the tales and glories of cult players and fan favorites.”
FIFA 22 is coming out on October 1 and is available for pre-order for PC on both Steam and Origin.
